Web Projects
The Journal of American History creates and hosts a variety of digital history projects each year.
Special Issues
The Journal often features an expanded, enriched online edition to accompany its special issues and roundtables.
Teaching the JAH
The Teaching the JAH project presents biannual installments, which uses online tools to bridge the gap between the latest scholarly research in U.S. history and the practice of classroom teaching. In this project, JAH authors demonstrate how featured articles might be taught in a U.S. history survey course.
Textbooks & Teaching
Each March, the section is made freely available here. The online version often includes additional and expanded resources.
See the online appendix for our March 2020 installment, "Beyond Big Data" here.
